Default Updating a Dream Elite image

After the installation of a DE image updating of the image is (allegedly) advisable (Software update in Software manager menu, using the remote control). I suppose the drivers and the second stage is updated this way, right? If so, no need to update the drivers separately?

For the time being there is any update concernig driver and secondstage. The NDE are using the last version. In case there will be a new driver release you can update through ipkg

Sorry I have missed the section. I´m using DM8000 so I should have posted in DM8000 section. I´m going to install DreamEliteBH 133 in flash. Does the image, being an older one, need a software update after installing? Is it safe to use Software manager? In Nabilo image (OE1.5), which I´m still using in flash at the moment, the use of Software manager is not recommendable since it may cause a crash. What about DE BH 133?
