Can I ask what tool you use for telnet ?
I had problems with DCC but as soon as I use putty I have no more problems.

I also suggest you start with small simple package to help you understand how it is built.

ipkg-build: Error: Package name contains illegal characters

and i test it with only abc and its the same..

what can be wrong ?

Illegal characters is easy.

No capital letters abcdefg ABCDEFG and only a few symbols allowed such as + -

Use the unbuild first to see how the CONTROL file is set up.

i have unbuild your plugin and check your control...
it looks like the same to my...

but then i take your control and its going!!

then i change and again its going...
